MICROFINANCE INTERNSHIP

A social business for poverty alleviation!

Today, if you look at financial systems around the globe, more than half the population of the world - out of six billion people, more than three billion - do not qualify to take out a loan from a bank. This is a shame.
Muhammad Yunus, founder Grameen Bank and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, 2006

ISAC offers an exciting opportunity for students and practitioners of business, economics, social science and commerce to intern with microfinance institutions. This internship program and its placement provide you with an opportunity to understand the inner workings of such institutions with a focus achieving financial inclusion for the otherwise "non-bankable" urban poor in India.
